Our Story

A neighborhood bakery that takes its craft seriously

Barnhouse started with a simple belief: that the best bread comes from patience, not speed. We ferment our dough for days, hand-shape every loaf, and bake in small batches so nothing leaves our oven unless it meets our standard.

As a grocer, we're just as particular. We stock only what we'd put on our own tables — locally roasted coffee, small-batch honey, and pantry items from makers we know and trust.
